Higgs Boson-like particle discovered

Big news yesterday from the world of Physics (see the article here).

It’s not an easy topic to understand (I don’t really understand it either)! But for a long time, physicists have hypothesized tiny particles (in the realm of electrons) that give certain “characters” to bigger particles like atoms (such as charge, spin, force). But one particle was missing and that is the particle that gives objects mass!

This is the power of a good theory! To predict something before it can be observed through experiments…
